Technology Teacher (STEAM Focus) Middle School

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and professional license in Computer Systems Engineering, Educational Technology, Information Systems, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of proven teaching experience.
Advanced English proficiency.
Proficiency in ChromeOS and Microsoft operating systems.
Google Educator certification (preferred).
Knowledge and experience in programming languages, electronics, and 3D design.
Strong classroom management skills, especially with teenagers.
Ability to effectively transmit knowledge, demonstrate leadership, work in teams, and maintain high productivity.
Experience using and managing a makerspace.
Full-time availability.

Main Responsibilities:

Design and develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
Prepare and deliver engaging and dynamic classes according to the study plan.
Continuously update teaching materials.
Create a safe and appropriate learning environment.
Present students with challenges to stimulate learning through varied and innovative methods.
Manage and ensure the proper use of the makerspace and its materials.
Provide personalized support and guidance to students.
Assess and monitor student performance.
Review and provide feedback on student assignments.
Prepare and accompany students to innovation and technology competitions and events.
Promote collaborative work with fellow teachers, especially within the STEAM department.
