Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Role Purpose
Lead and/or support the creation and execution of strategy projects consistent with and in support of the regional business strategies
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct all the pre-work necessary for a planning session
- The position makes sure that all numbers are correct, identifies issues anddrives resolution
- Publish the one pager
- Weekly and monthly reports
- Make sure that Weekly/Monthly Operations and Plant reviews information isavailable
- Paste together plant reviews for key visitors (senior leadership)
- Work with assistants, chief of staff and or strategists to align agendas anddiscusses options with the PM
- Support the roadmap to achieve the regional and local initiatives
- Create metrics to ensure effective execution of the manufacturing strategy
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Good people skills

- Great communication and leadership skills (written and oral with expertise inPower point presentations)
