What you’ll do:
Primary Function:
Provide HR expertise to the business unit under the direction of the Plant Human Resources Manager.
Provides support in functional areas of human resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, and special projects. Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings. Prepares reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organization needs. The position drives continuous improvement in human resources while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).
Essential Functions:
- Manages recruitment process for salaried and hourly employees. Review organization structure and job design with hiring manager.
- Administers programs, projects, and/or processes related to the HR function and fully supports plant initiatives
- Assist HR manager and supervisor with Organizational Capability Analysis. Develop background materials and follow-up on action and development plans.
- Assist in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, personnel changes in the HR Management Systems.
- Processes various applications, employment, enrollment, pay change, informational and other confidential forms, and records in HR systems.
- Counsel leaders on dealing with employee relations and employee performance issues.
- Be an advocate for employees in the organization ensuring fair treatment, helping to get issues raised and addressed responding to their need for information on policies, procedures, benefits, pay etc. and identifying developmental opportunities.
- Assist in preparing data in response to requests from others. Assist in the EBE (Eaton Business Excellence) process. Assist in developing presentations, reports, and communications.

Qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor´s degree is a must. BS or BA in Human Resource Management or equivalent preferred.
- 3-5 years of HR generalist experience. 1-3 years related to Organizational Development.
- Proficient in computer software, Microsoft office (Mid-high), Tress System
- Manufacturing background is a must.
- Good communication skills Spanish and English
Preferred Specialized Knowledge (not required to be qualified for position):
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Knowledge oracle preferred.
- Payroll experience or equivalent
