As part of our engineering team, you will play a key role in designing and supporting test equipment that ensures the performance, safety, and quality of our products. We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
JOB DUTIES:
- Designs and coordinates the construction of test equipment in collaboration with design and manufacturing engineering teams.
- Defines design criteria for new test systems and ensures they meet or exceed performance expectations.
- Supports manufacturing yield improvement by validating equipment performance and reliability.
- Responds to customer service issues by modifying equipment within company policies and documenting all changes.
- Maintains technical documentation, performance history, and modification records for all test equipment.
- Ensures compliance with company standards for safety and performance; oversees calibration and corrective actions as needed.
- Provides technical support to equipment users and manages schedules and budgets for new equipment projects.
- Participates in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S+1, safety, and environmental programs.
- Conducts work in a safe, ethical, and efficient manner, aligned with quality policies and objectives.
- Completes additional tasks assigned by management to support operations.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 4–5 years of experience in test equipment design, calibration, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in C programming, including LabWindows/CVI and microcontroller development (C and Assembly).
- Experience in RF test equipment development for WiFi and Bluetooth (radiated and conducted testing).
- Strong skills in instrumentation (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, mechanical calibrators).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages.
