The Red Hat LATAM Technology Sales team is searching for an experienced and dynamic ASA Senior Manager to lead our team in Mexico City.
In this pivotal leadership role, you'll be responsible for guiding and developing a team of Account Solution Architects focused on our key Enterprise Accounts in Mexico. Beyond team leadership, you'll play a critical role in shaping and executing Red Hat's go-to-market (GTM) strategies and tactics across the Mexican market. This includes driving the adoption and success of our comprehensive product portfolio: Linux Operating System, Virtualization, Automation, Container Management, and Application Development.
What you will do:
- Hire, develop, retain, and lead Account Solution Architects within the region to deliver Red Hat Solution offerings through all sales motions & technical decision points (TDPs).
- Shape and execute the Enterprise Accounts sales strategy for the region, focusing on translating Red Hat’s innovative solutions into tangible business value for our customers.
- You'll be instrumental in enhancing our influence, delighting stakeholders, and unlocking significant growth through net-new business development.
- Accountable for the region Enterprise Accounts quota targets and planned growth.
- Serve as the technical thought leader, acting as a trusted advisor to the Red Hat account teams within the region.
- Collaborate with other geo and regional ASA Managers for sales execution and talent management, including ensuring technical sellers are meeting the required technical proficiencies for their role.
- Collaborate with the platform leaders when joint GTMs may be required to simplify our offerings from the customer point of view.
- Support and contribute to the hiring of Accounts Solution Architects (ASAs) in the region
- Assesses the performance of a team of ASAs based upon sales execution and team talent management (time/attentiveness to hiring, attrition, associate engagement, quarterly connection completion, etc.).
- Execute global sales plays with the support of the specialist teams.
- Partner with the Ecosystem team to implement and execute partner-focused GTM initiatives.
What will you bring:
- 3+ years experience in a sales leadership role in a technology sales environment.
- 5+ years experience as an Individual Contributor in technical solution sales & architecture in an enterprise software and services context
- Strong technical and business background with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering on complex projects.
- Experience managing sales and technical pre-sales associates.
- Proven track record in managing direct and indirect teams, as well as strong cross functional collaboration skills, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience with Linux Operating System, Virtualization, Automation, Container Management and Application Development.
- Experience with cloud platforms, e.g. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Ability to present to and have conversations at multiple levels with a customer from developers and architects to infrastructure and operations teams, to strategic executives and C-level management.
- Experience with a digital transformation effort as part of sales, consulting or as a customer.
- Strong understanding of market opportunities, the competitive landscape and deep technical expertise in IT solutions and related technologies, trends, and concepts.
- A balance of strategic, tactical and technical, as well as creative thinking skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher, in computer information systems, computer science or related field, and any other in management and leadership
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, following Red Hat’s established travel and expense policies.
- English Proficiency is required
