About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and delivery-focused Engineering Delivery Lead to support the coordination and execution of software projects across front-end and back-end teams. This role is ideal for an engineer with solid technical experience who’s moved into delivery leadership—someone who understands code, but thrives in orchestrating progress, unblocking teams, and ensuring things ship on time and at high quality.
You will act as the connective tissue between product, developers, and stakeholders—making sure teams stay aligned, progress is visible, and issues are addressed early. You won’t be managing people directly, but you’ll play a key leadership role in driving engineering deliverables forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate the day-to-day execution of technical deliverables across front-end and back-end development teams.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering Leads to break down initiatives into clear milestones and actionable tickets.
- Identify blockers or risks in delivery and work with the appropriate people to resolve them quickly.
- Ensure that tasks in the sprint are properly defined, estimated, and assigned, with frequent follow-ups.
- Join sprint planning, standups, and retros to support team accountability and delivery momentum.
- Keep documentation up to date (Confluence, Jira), and make sure all stakeholders have visibility on progress and blockers.
- Review pull requests or technical output from a high-level perspective, flagging potential quality, scope, or delivery issues.
- Encourage best practices in delivery, such as clear communication, early demos, and proactive scope clarification.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a software engineering role (frontend, backend, or full stack), with strong technical understanding of both sides.
- Experience working in agile environments, preferably with cross-functional product teams.
- Comfortable working with tools like Jira, GitHub, Confluence, and Slack to track and communicate progress.
- Strong ability to connect technical work with business value and deadlines.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Proactive, self-directed, and able to guide a team forward without needing formal authority.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fast-paced environments or high-growth teams.
- Exposure to CI/CD workflows and basic DevOps practices.
- Background in mentoring junior developers or supporting onboarding processes.
- Experience with product delivery in SaaS, mobile, or cloud platforms.
You Are
- A natural organizer and problem-solver.
- Technically savvy, but more excited now by helping teams deliver efficiently than writing code daily.
- A bridge between product and engineering, keeping focus on timelines and outcomes.
- Detail-oriented but calm and pragmatic under pressure.
- Eager to grow into higher leadership or project delivery roles.
Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
