AT&T is seeking a Senior Vendor Manager based in Mexico City. In this role, you will manage strategic supplier relationships to enhance vendor performance, ensure compliance with quality standards, achieve business objectives, and drive continuous improvement—delivering value for both the company and its suppliers. Additionally, you will assist the Lead Channel Manager in optimizing the performance of business partners to achieve sales targets and KPIs. Key responsibilities include execution oversight, performance tracking, relationship management, and implementing initiatives to maximize sales growth through the partner channel.
What you will do:
- Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned business partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment on sales goals.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors and supervise Senior Channel Managers, including performance reviews and coaching.
- Oversee multi-site and multi-partner operations, maintaining consistency in staffing, training, and quality assurance.
- Manage escalated sales disputes and act as the final decision-maker in conflicts between partners and internal stakeholders.
- Support the Lead Channel Manager in executing sales strategies, coordinating campaigns, promotions, and training programs.
- Track key sales KPIs, prepare performance reports, and recommend corrective actions to enhance partner productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements and lead operational performance reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors to drive continuous improvement, streamline processes, and support onboarding.
What you will bring:
- Proven experience in channel management, vendor management, or sales operations, preferably within inbound customer support environments.
- Experienced professional with advanced, interdisciplinary knowledge.
- Ability to resolve complex issues using broad professional concepts.
- Guidance for others through the application of advanced principles and company practices.
- Leadership of moderately sized projects or strategic components of larger initiatives.
- Autonomous operation with frequent interaction with senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; excels in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
What you’ll need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
- Experience: 3+ years of related experience.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on execution and operational discipline.
- Fully bilingual: must speak, read, and write fluently in both Spanish and English.
- Location: This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only available in the posted location(s). No relocation is offered.
