Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Demonstrated knowledge of the business; act as business partner in one or more HR areas.
2. Has established partnerships across the organization, cultivating a supportive environment.
3. Influences and improves broad HR processes and procedures.
4. Uses reporting and metrics available to help drive decisions.
5. Manage confidential files and other privileged information.
6. Lead Human Resources training efforts.
7. Supervise and mentor other staff as needed.
8. Work independently and is a resource to others in solving broad problems encountered.
9. Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Human Resources or related field
- Typically eight years experience within Human Resources or a related field
- Solid knowledge of laws and legal practices and procedures as it pertains to HR area
- Ability to partner with and align diverse groups
- Excellent listening, coaching, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical ability and problem resolution skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data
- Demonstrated ability to handle/prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently, accepting ownership for assigned responsibilities
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with an HRIS system and processes
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL (where applicable)
- Negative drug test result(s) (where applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM certification
