Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and optimizing delivery routes, considering factors like delivery time windows, vehicle capacity, and customer locations.
- Managing the execution of routes, including tracking driver progress, managing inventory on vehicles, and handling returns or exchanges.
- Processing route data, generating reports, and settling payments related to deliveries.
- Ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules like Transportation Management (TM) for route planning and SAP S/4HANA Sales for order management.
- Setting up and maintaining master data for customers, routes, visit plans, and other relevant data for DSD routes.
- Identifying and resolving issues related to LMD processes, ensuring smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study
- 4+ years of SAP experience
- In-depth knowledge of SAP SD, LE, and DSD modules is essential.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly with its logistics capabilities, is highly desirable.
- Experience with route planning and optimization tools and techniques.
- Experience integrating SAP with handheld devices for route execution and data capture.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with various teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues related to LMD processes.
- Understanding of business processes related to direct distribution and last-mile delivery.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
