Your new role
As an RWE Medical Writer at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Prepare, review, and ensure high-quality scientific documents such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations, in collaboration with the NNI publications team.
- Collaborate with global and local publication teams, journals, editors, and authors to successfully execute publication projects.
- Apply technical expertise to assess document quality and ensure alignment with therapeutic area guidelines and industry best practices.
- Manage publication-related processes, including timeline development and author meetings with oversight from the RWE Lead.
- Stay current on regulations, standards, and therapeutic area literature to provide accurate, compliant, and impactful medical writing deliverables.
Your new department
You will be part of the GBS Mexico City team, a dynamic and collaborative environment where innovation and excellence drive everything we do. Our department supports clinical development activities, including Biostatistics, Programming, Clinical Reporting, Data Management, Epidemiology/Real World Evidence, and Clinical Pharmacology. We are dedicated to optimising trial execution, sharing knowledge, and fostering competency development.

Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Life Sciences or PharmD required.
- Fluent in English, with strong scientific writing and communication skills.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience, including real-world evidence or HEOR publication writing.
- Proven track record in preparing and delivering high-quality scientific publications.
- Proficient in document management and software tools (e.g., Word, graphics applications).
- Maintains oversight of Good Publication Practices (GPP2022) and ICMJE in addition to other industry best practice standards for publications in conjunction with NNI publications team.
- Ensures adherence to applicable guidelines, templates and SOPs for all documents provided for therapeutic area
