GENERAL SUMMARY
This contractor will be responsible for the oversight and management of multiple aspects of PTG Consulting-Tourism projects to ensure proper facilitation of client relationships and that contracted deliverables are met on time, within budget, and according to company policy for our destination clients. This position will also be responsible for coordinating the support required for development activities to grow PTG Consulting – Tourism’s client base including proposal development and response to published RFPs.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President. They will have direct contact with select PTG Consulting clients and team members.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
- Build and maintain relationships with LATAM, Caribbean, and U.S. clients with services in the region by understanding their needs, resolving issues, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring contracted deliverables are met on time and within budget for our destination clients.
- Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client needs and concerns for the account management team. Ensuring day-to-day management of clients and their requests are handled according to company policy and contracted deliverables are met on time and in budget to result in desired profit margin for the company.
- Serve as the main point of contact throughout the RFP process for PTG Consulting - Tourism’s practice from receipt, to finalizing the submission for approval, actively participating in the creation of new business proposals, leading the collaboration with account management teams on ideation, drafting, budgeting, and formatting.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the account management team coordinating development proposals for clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the account management team to ensure development of new case studies, materials, etc. that contribute to the success of obtaining new business.

Support account management team efforts as needed:
- Client events including budget development, planning, securing services, managing lists, and supporting promotional materials.
- Representing destination clients at select FAM trips, tradeshows, roadshows, and consumer events.
- Completing timely client reports that communicate results against contracted deliverables.
- Providing periodic translation of documents English to/from Spanish, review and edit third party translations.
- Negotiate pricing for services by third party vendors.
