What will you do?
Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle. Collaborate with customers, purchasing, production, and engineering teams regarding new product releases and long-term customer needs. Prepare and manage the demand production schedule for a facility serving multiple product lines and/or customers. Supervise materials coordinators and/or analysts directly.
How will you do it?
Optimize material flow and inventory levels to ensure compliance with production schedules.
Engage with cross-functional teams to gather and evaluate requirements for new product launches.
Adjust production schedules as required based on real-time production demands and supply chain dynamics.
Oversee and develop the skills of materials coordinators and/or analysts to enhance team performance.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to forecast demand and resolve operational issues.
Utilize ERP systems for monitoring, reporting, and managing inventory and purchasing orders.
Implement best practices in demand planning to meet customer expectations and align with business goals.
What are we looking for?
A university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain or materials management.
Experience in a supervisory position within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong analytical abilities and proficiency with inventory management systems.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.
