Job Summary
The Production Planner will be responsible for scheduling the assembly and fabrication of sheet metal parts. In addition to scheduling the orders and associated tasks, the position is also responsible for scheduling every individual manufacturing order and machine. The planner will ensure that all parts needed to manufacture an order are available according to the production plan.

The Production Planner will be responsible for scheduling the assembly and fabrication of sheet metal parts. Job Responsibilities
- Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial products: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
- Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
- Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Prepares production reports.
- May prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.
- May prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment. #LI-DG2
Qualifications:
- Education level
Bachelor’s degree (L.A.E., Industrial Engineering, bachelor’s in economy) o equivalent experience. Master’s degree in field is a plus -
Years and area of experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the position or similar positions within a manufacturing industry. Preferable electrical sector.

- Computer Systems, ERP (i.e. SAP, MAPICS, JD Edwards) knowledge
- VISTA and Mentor knowledge (internal programs)
- Microsoft Office skills
- Supply Chain expertise.
- 90% minimum of English domain (talked and written)
