There is an exciting opportunity to join the site R&D Team in Toluca or Querétaro Site as the Packaging Development Specialist. The purpose of this role is to develop and deploy packaging initiatives that support core brand growth, efficiency and innovation for Mars Wrigley

What are we looking for?

• A BS or advanced degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science, or related technical field
• 2+ years’ experience working on packaging projects
• Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams and with external suppliers

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Adapt pack process conditions as required to ensure that all packs run efficiently and meet required semi-finished and finished product specifications, QFS standards and efficiency targets
• Utilize modelling and simulation to deploy validated packaging formats across the network with minimal disruption to operations and minimal expense costs to the business
• Initiates, coordinates and executes line trials at appropriate supply locations to confirm that quality attributes and performance metrics are achieved.
• Coordinates the creation of high quality prototypes to gauge consumer desirability, influence teams and support customer collaboration.
