Job Description
Taking over the responsibility from logistics planning side for new product launches and the implementation of engineering changes for new and serial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design logistics solutions for new projects, ensuring supply chain optimization from the initial project phase.
- Coordinate with project teams and other departments to ensure logistics needs are integrated from planning to execution.
- Monitor and evaluate project logistics costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Ensure delivery deadlines and quality in logistics operations related to the project are met.
- Propose and implement continuous improvements in logistics processes to ensure efficiency during new project execution.
- Collaboration with suppliers to ensure timely component deliveries for the project ramp-ups.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations in all project logistics activities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to new project logistics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Actively participate in the planning and execution of long-term logistics strategies for new projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree (International Business, Industrial Engineering, or similar)
- Project-based work experience, ideally in the automotive industry
- Proactive working style, result oriented
- Strong collaboration in a team
- Proficient SAP user
- Fluency in English
- Perform well under pressure
