About the role
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for leading and supervising the manufacturing team strategically, ensuring effective project execution, standardizing production methods, driving continuous improvement, and guaranteeing the performance of coilshop teams in expected levels of safety, quality, service level, and productivity. Coordinate the introduction of new products and equipment, ensuring proper use of PCR (Process Change Request) and compliance with critical characteristics (Pro-Cert).
Key Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Coordinate, develop, and promote the manufacturing team
- Ensure compliance and administration of PCR (Process Change Request)
- Manage plans for process certification (Pro-Cert)
- Coordinate execution of investment projects using manufacturing resources (CAPEX)
- Manage activities to increase plant productivity (CSH) through lean methodology
- Promote root cause analysis for major plant issues
- Advocate for Cx Culture, participate in continuous improvement events and workshops
- Ensure compliance with plant metrics (Service level, productivity, downtime)
- Promote ergonomic projects and elimination of unsafe conditions
- Implement and execute manufacturing activities for ECN implementation
- Ensure compliance with ISO guidelines (Document development and updates, etc.)
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or a related engineering.
- Conversational English
- Lean Manufacturing.
- Preferred experience in HVAC (Hairpin Benders, Expanders, and Fin Press).
- GD&T
- Core Tools (PF, PFMEA, CP, MC)

Minimum 3 years of experience in:
- Manufacturing and/or Processes
- Project management for new product implementation
- Equipment installation in Coilshop (Hairpin Benders, Expanders, and Fin Press)
- Problem-solving methods
- Manufacturing methods
- Lean Manufacturing tools
- Conversational English for project presentations
