As a Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of the manufacturing plan in the assembly area by following established procedures, maintaining personnel safety, and product quality. You will ensure all required information is recorded for manufacturing indicators management. You will generate and follow up on improvement actions together with a multidisciplinary team to meet or exceed the declared area goals. This position reports to the Manufacturing Superintendent.

Our Team
You will be part of the TIS division, collaborating closely with teams from Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Engineering, Planning, Human Resources, and Management to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage production operators, setup technicians, and team leaders, promoting a safe and disciplined work environment.
- Monitor and follow up on manufacturing orders according to customer priorities and planning; assign direct labor to activities to meet production plans.
- Coordinate communication with setup technicians and team leaders to ensure the smooth operation of automatic, semi-automatic, and manual assembly lines.
- Coordinate and execute training plans for direct labor to ensure correct task execution and increase operational flexibility.
- Provide tools to guarantee communication to the next shift at operational, line leader, and engineering levels to share key manufacturing information such as order priorities and area metrics performance.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement activities related to manufacturing processes, quality, safety, and labor relations.
- Generate daily manufacturing status reports on assembly lines to keep the multidisciplinary team and management committee informed.
- Seek and implement ideas to reduce downtime and lead the multidisciplinary team in executing improvements.
- Detect and resolve unsafe acts and conditions with a focus on prevention, adhering to EHS standards to achieve zero accidents.
- Maintain discipline in operations to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
- Adopt, follow, and transmit company values and philosophy to the direct labor team.
- Maintain a 5S culture within the assembly area.
- Provide and care for resources, machinery, and tools required to guarantee daily manufacturing tasks.
- Perform other activities assigned by the manufacturing superintendent and management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- University degree in Mechatronics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing teams.
- Experience using SAP, understanding OEE, ability to read production orders, interpret product blueprints, knowledge of quality systems & IATF, capable of managing unionized personnel, and sharing knowledge effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain close communication with Human Resources.

- Master's degree or diploma in Personnel Management or related areas.
- More than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
