Manager, Professional Services (Legal Software)

About the Role

In this role as a Manager, Professional Services (Legal Software), you will:

  • Provide leadership and management to team members.
  • Mentor, develop, and retain existing team members by developing career opportunities and expanding responsibilities.
  • Manage resource allocation across the Legal Tech implementation portfolio to ensure project delivery and staff utilization.
  • Expand current materials, methodologies, and artifacts
  • Contribute to ongoing refinement and development of operational requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with engagement managers, solution engineers, technical delivery, and senior leadership to ensure efficient implementation delivery, identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability
  • Support the development of post-implementation offerings around business solutions consulting, ongoing training, and configuration consulting services to continually drive and improve customer usage and ensure customer operating efficiency
  • Lead discovery efforts for new projects and provide support and escalation for team members on their specific projects as needed.

About You

You're a fit for the role if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience within the Legal or Software Implementation field or a similar role
  • Experience documenting and translating business requirements into functional specifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the data requirements and workflows of business activities and their relationship to processing functions
  • Excellent communication (oral / written) skills and the ability to interact with multiple teams and customers in a diverse setting encompassing both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to apply innovation, creativity, and improvement to the Legal Tech implementation process and to be able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience supporting the onboarding and mentorship of new team members
  • Willing to travel to customer locations both domestically and internationally
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism and effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers
  • Experience in the Legal Industry, ideally with software implementations
  • Team leadership experience
  • Mentoring experience
  • Experience in supporting or partnering with Sales or Customer Success/Support teams
