Job Purpose:

The Legal & Commercial Contract Supervisor will assist in managing and overseeing the legal aspects of contracts within the logistics sector. This role requires foundational knowledge of commercial law, contract negotiation, and compliance, along with a basic understanding of employment litigation and employment relations. The ideal candidate will support the Senior Legal & Commercial Contract Manager in ensuring that all contracts are legally sound, protect the company’s interests, and comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management:

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to logistics services, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the management of the contract lifecycle, including tracking expiration dates and monitoring compliance with contractual obligations.

• Legal Compliance:

  • Provide assistance in ensuring legal compliance and risk management aligned with internal policies and applicable laws.
  • Stay informed about changes in legislation related to logistics and employment law, providing updates to the Senior Manager as needed.

• Employment Litigation Support:

  • Assist in providing legal support in employment litigation matters, including disputes related to contracts and workplace policies.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel as necessary to gather information and documentation for litigation cases.

• Employment Relations:

  • Support the development and implementation of strategies to maintain positive employment relations within the organization.
  • Assist in advising management on employee rights, workplace policies, and best practices to mitigate legal risks.

• Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding contract-related inquiries and legal matters.
  • Facilitate communication between legal, commercial, and operational teams to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions.

• Administrative Support:

  • Maintain organized records of contracts, legal documents, and correspondence.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management on contract management and legal compliance matters.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract management or a related field, preferably within the logistics or transportation sector.
• Basic understanding of employment litigation and employment relations.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in contract management software and legal research tools is preferred.
• Proficiency in English
• Availability to hybrid work in Cuautitlán Izcalli
