Lean Intern
Objective
This position will support the implementation and alignment of Lean tools with Nemak's work systems, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities
- Implement and align Lean tools with Nemak's work systems.
- Develop employee competencies through continuous training using Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Standardized Work).
- Analyze and identify the best ways to perform tasks and document them in the system.
- Execute business improvement projects (Kaizen, Optimizations, Cost Reduction, 5S).
- Monitor compliance with established cycle times for each production team.
- Define material handling standards for each production process.
Position Requirements
- Education: Active college student with at least one year remaining before graduation.
- Career: Industrial Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Administrator Engineer.
- Skills: Organization and attention to detail, Active listening, Communication, Customer orientation, Interpersonal skills.
- Advanced English
