IMPORT / EXPORT COORDINATOR:
What will you do?
The Logistic import/export specialist should be able to coordinate and execute with custom brokers and logistic service providers the import and export of goods as well as the inbound and outbound freight for every sales and purchase order requested by the sales and procurement area, this according the JCI trade compliance policies and legal regulations that must be meet. Should be able to track and communicate to the stakeholders the status for every order and provide support to expedite when needed. Should also be able to improve the Logistics and import/export processes to meet the required needs in terms of legal requirements, cost and service.
How will you do it?
- Coordinate with customs and freight service providers the on-time release/delivery for goods and direct material, as well and to monitor import / export cycle time and cost related.
- To comply with every legal and JCI trade compliance regulations.
- Assure that problems relating to international trade and logistics are promptly escalated and resolved in a timely manner per standard procedures to avoid material shortages or extra costs.
- Implement Logistics / International trade related Projects
- Support the purchasing and logistics function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
- Prepare reports and updates as and when required
- Participate in Training program.
- Define corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and review procedures and instructions.
- Analyze and prevent the consequences of all actions before any activity
What we look for?
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (International Trade). +1 years exp. in customs / trade related role preferred.
- Fluent English (written and spoken)

- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Experience in customs operations.
- Knowledge in Microsoft office (mainly Excel)
