DESCRIPTION
We are actively looking for a Foreign Trade and Warehouse Management Specialist who will be responsible for managing warehouse operations and supporting import & export activities in Mexico, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant flow of goods, customs clearance, and trade-related operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in logistics, international trade, supply chain management, or a related field;
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse management and import/export operations;
- Familiarity with Mexican customs;
- Ability to independently handle customs declaration, tariffs, and warehouse operations;
- Fluent in Spanish with excellent communication skills in English or Chinese.
Desirable:
- Background in multinational manufacturing, automotive parts, or high-tech industries;
- Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems such as SAP, INFOR, and Oracle;
- Experience managing teams or 3PL suppliers.
Warehouse Management
- Responsible for daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and inventory management; Develop and optimize warehouse management processes to ensure inventory accuracy of
- 98%;
- Coordinate internal and third-party logistics to ensure goods enter and exit the warehouse within specified time limits;
- Manage warehouse security and oversee the implementation of the DSS system and security procedures.
Import and Export Management
- Responsible for import and export operations, including document preparation, customs declaration, customs release tracking, and exception handling;
- Familiar with policies such as IMMEX, PROSEC, and the USMCA to ensure compliance with Mexican and international trade regulations;
- Monitor tariffs, certificates of origin, HS codes, and related tax policies to optimize costs;
- Liaise with customs, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure efficient, legal, and smooth import and export operations.
Data and Compliance
- Regularly generate import, export, and inventory reports to support financial, tax, and compliance audits;
- Monitor the implementation of warehouse and import and export-related SOPs to identify and address risks.
