What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports.
Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads to cross-functional efforts to enable forward-looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in finance or cost accounting field, preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- English: intermediate business English level, required.
- SAP system, preferred.
- Problem-solving person, required.
- Accounting processes.
- Ability to work with multi-cultural and multi-functional teams.
What is expected of you and others at this level
- Daily management of responsibilities related to analysis and reporting of value improvement projects (VIP).
- Daily management of responsibilities related to analysis and reporting of purchase price variance (PPV).
- Prepare and presents analysis of manufacturing variances by cost element.
- Support with preparation of weekly finance projections.
- Support with monthly closing activities.
- Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit reports that are required ad hoc.
- Participate in annual budget and quartile forecasts.
- Work on moderate to complex requirements/analysis to mitigate risks and identify opportunities.
