Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of geological databases, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of information.
- Support in the organization and analysis of geological data from field programs and drilling campaigns.
- Perform quality control (QA/QC) monitoring and reporting to ensure data quality and compliance with internal protocols.
- Collaborate with geologists and technical staff in the interpretation of geological, geochemical and geophysical data.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, maps and presentations.
- Participate in research and development projects focused on improving exploration techniques and geological models.
Requirements
- Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or related field.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in the mining industry, with solid knowledge in core description, sampling and mapping.
- Experience in database roles and QA/QC is essential.
- Proficiency in MX Deposit, Leapfrog Geo and QGIS.
- Detailed and proactive profile, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work in remote locations under various conditions.
- Residency in Zacatecas or availability to relocate.
- English proficiency is an asset, but not mandatory.
