JR-202514935 - Design Release Eng Lead.
Responsabilities:
- Responsible as a lead directing the efforts for a small team of designers.
- Directs studio activities in absence of senior management.
- Responsible for making perspective sketches and rendering in scale and full-size sufficient to communicate new design ideas.
- Develops 2D and 3D mock-ups of proposed design solutions.
- Works with studio engineers, modelers, other designers and service and fabrication personnel in the development of new ideas in both 2D and 3D form.
- Understanding and ability to negotiate criteria with engineers. Understands program timelines and dedicated regarding task completion.
- Understands design sections and provides guidance to program sculptors and engineers to create full size and scale models.
- Works cross-functionally on a frequent basis.
- Integrates subsystems required to complete entire full size design proposals. Adheres to and develops common processes and best practices.
- Leads in the selection of new employees.
- Trains and develops and evaluates performance of employees with responsibility for performance reviews.

Required Skills:
- Education: Mechanical, mechatronic, electrical, electronic, and industrial engineer
- English: Advanced Intermediate (Conversational)
- Experience: 3 years in mechanical design, problem solving, project and team leadership
- Software: Unigraphics or NX , Technomathrics
- Availability to travel
