Role:
Serves as a key liaison between customers and internal operations by supporting inquiries related to order lead times, configuration changes, and delivery expectations. Ensures material availability aligns with production schedules and inventory targets to maintain operational continuity. Manages the intake and validation of new orders and order modifications, ensuring accurate processing within the order management system and alignment with production capabilities.

What it Will Do:

• Monitors inventory levels against target thresholds to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess.
• Supports short-term and tactical planning efforts to balance supply and demand across production lines.
• Utilizes forecasting tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to analyze demand trends, seasonal variations, and capacity constraints.
• Identifies and escalates potential supply chain risks or bottlenecks that may impact production schedules.
• Serves as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely updates on lead times, production schedules, order modifications, rescheduling, and shipping dates.
• Capable of aligning customer orders with the sales and production plan to support monthly delivery and revenue targets.
• Coordinates cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Logistics, and Manufacturing to prioritize customer needs and resolve conflicts.
• Adapt quickly to dynamic production environments and shifting customer priorities, maintaining service levels and responsiveness to evolving needs.
• Provide clear, concise, and timely updates and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment and transparency across the supply chain.

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, international business or equivalent
• Advanced level of English (conversational and written)

• Advanced knowledge of data gathering and analysis methodologies and technologies.
• Ability to oversee data collection and analysis activities within an organization.
• Skill in documenting data sources and validating the accuracy of data analysis by assessing the strengths and limitations of the methods used.
• Proficiency in implementing procedures and policies within data processing functions.
• Capability to train others on improving the validity and reliability of data used in various analyses.
• Familiarity with industry bests practices in data gathering and analysis.

Planning: Tactical, Strategic

• Ability to contribute to the development and execution of short-term operational plans.
• Capacity to anticipate changes and adapt plans accordingly to maintain alignment with production goals.
• Skill in monitoring work progress against established plans to ensure timely achievement of objectives.
• Proficiency in identifying and reporting variances, and implementing corrective actions as agreed.
• Capability to develop tactical plans within assigned areas of responsibility, under guidance.

Effective Communications

• Demonstrated ability to deliver constructive, behavior-focused feedback in a respectful and effective manner.
• Receptiveness to feedback and the capacity to apply it to enhance communication performance.
• Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills to foster collaboration and alignment.
• Strong awareness of non-verbal communication cues and the ability to interpret them accurately in individual and group settings.
• Proficiency in managing clear, consistent, and strategic communication with assigned clients, including status updates and action coordination when required

Demand Management

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP at an intermediate level, in planning modules.
• Ability to assist in the collection and preparation of essential demand data.
• Capability to contribute to short-term demand planning activities for specific products or locations.
• Proficiency in generating basic demand management reports to support senior staff in reconciling demand balances.
• Skill in identifying and summarizing operational issues and concerns within demand management processes.
• Familiarity with demand planning tools, with the ability to apply them—under guidance—to forecast demand, assess seasonal trends, and support demand-shaping efforts.

Forecasting

• Ability to contribute to the development of short-term forecasts for specific products or locations.
• Proficiency in gathering and analyzing demand data using established tools and procedures.
• Skill in identifying relevant data sources and inputs for weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Capability to research and interpret seasonal trends affecting major products or product lines.
• Understanding of common business conditions and activities that influence demand patterns.

Top Candidate Will Have:

• Masters degree
• Microsoft Office Specialist certification
• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems or similar
• Knowledge of lean techniques
