A leading global electrical company is seeking for Toluca´s plant:

Direct Materials Purchasing Planner – Bilingual

Domestic and international suppliers

Preferably with experience in the electrical industry

Job Objective:

In charge of:

• Demand interpretation and MRP review
• Issuing direct materials purchase orders
• Monitoring material deliveries from suppliers
• Purchase order tracking
• Preventing material shortages and/or delivery delays
• Negotiating and developing suppliers
• Identifying cost-saving projects

Activities:

• Analyze demand and MRP
• Searching for suppliers, development of local and/or foreign suppliers
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Generating purchase orders
• Monitoring deliveries on time
• Identifying cost-saving projects
• Contract management
• Release BOM
• Cost reduction
• Daily reporting
• Methodology to determine when alternative suppliers are required
• Relationship with different areas: Planning, Logistics, Foreign Trade, SAP Project, Quality, Engineering, Legal, Finance and Customer Service

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in International Trade / Industrial Engineering - Graduate
• Experience: 4 years of experience in supplier sourcing, generating purchase orders for direct materials, tracking merchandise delivery, cost reduction, and continuous improvement. It is a plus if you have purchased hardware, packaging, electrical parts, and metal purchases (copper, bronze, and aluminum).

Knowledge of:

• SAP HANA – ERP: MM purchasing modules

Offer:

• Gross salary: $30,000 or more depending on experience
