Team Overview

Being part of the Categories team will give you the unique opportunity to help drive growth in one of the fastest-growing companies in the world. This data-driven role calls for a rare combination of user-centric, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to interact with our community of users and partners (drivers). You will have the opportunity to work in a high-impact team, where you will launch, build, and run DiDi's business in Mexico and nearby LATAM regions. Be prepared for a hectic, fast-paced, and challenging environment. Never a dull moment!   The Operations Analyst role is crucial for the expansion and sustainability of the business. The ideal candidate should have very strong analytical skills (e.g., Python, R, SQL, etc.) and feel comfortable transforming insights into business decisions that drive driver acquisition growth in the region.   You will be constantly seeking scalable solutions while overseeing the growth of our business. Your processes and projects will directly contribute to DiDi's growth in LATAM!

Role Responsibilities

As part of the team you’ll play a key role in shaping how we attract, engage, and support new partners. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for solving complex operational challenges.   Design and execute initiatives for new partner acquisition in Spanish-speaking LATAM markets, using data to guide decisions and maximize efficiency.   Oversee daily operations and partner acquisition campaigns, ensuring the smooth rollout of product launches, incentive programs, and ongoing initiatives.   Convert raw databases into opportunities, using visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, R, and Python.   Define and analyze data dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for growth or optimization.   Build and maintain detailed reporting models, including core OKRs and growth funnels, to assist in city-level and regional market consolidation efforts.   Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, business intelligence, etc.) to adapt and improve offerings based on partner needs and market dynamics.   Navigate ambiguous and complex problems with creativity, agility, and critical thinking. Document best practices to ensure consistency and promote continuous improvement cycles within the business unit. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating effectively in both English and Spanish.

Role Qualifications

We're looking for someone who brings both analytical rigor and hands-on problem-solving to the table—someone who thrives in dynamic environments, takes ownership, and enjoys collaborating across teams. If you’re passionate about driving impact through data and operational excellence, this role could be a great fit for you.   Education: Strong academic background, with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a related field.   Experience: At least 2-4 years of professional experience in operations, growth, project management, or similar roles, preferably in tech-driven environments.   Analytical Skills: A data-first mindset, with a strong interest in analytics. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with tools such as SQL, Python, R, Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization platforms.   Problem-Solving: Demonstrated aptitude for analytical and conceptual problem-solving. Ability to deal with ambiguity and take calculated risks with innovative methods when needed. Communication Skills: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills to engage diverse teams and stakeholders.   Management Skills: Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of taking ownership and following through on complex tasks.   Ownership Mindset: A proactive and self-directed attitude, with a strong desire to learn and a focus on feedback culture.
