Reporting to the Quality Manager, you as a APQP Engineer will be responsible for ensure that new products, transferences, and process existent meet with customer requirements based in advanced product and quality planning.
About the job:
- Management pf DRPV/Job1, run & rate PTR, PSO, Pilot run and all containments (GP12) and customer compliant required by customer.
- Responsible for leading Quality metrics according to company and customer specific requirements (APQP, Phased PPAP).
- Coordinate advanced product and quality planning.
- Performance potential capability studies for process of new products/process.
- Participate in project risk analysis (new technologies.
- Participate in the answers to customer complaints, identify and analyze quality problems and propose corrective actions.
- Establish and following to quality indicators and acceptable criteria to product.
- Administration of activities in the laboratory of dimensions test related with new product/process.
- Starts and executes tracking quality procedures according to international standards (IATF 16949) and company policy.
- Identify and communicate customer specific requirements to project team.
- Assure the timely validation of the product and process through regular product audit, process release and Manufacturing Process Audit.
About you:
- University – Bachelor of Science in Mechatronic, Mechanic or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience as Quality, Process Engineer or Project Engineer.
- Core Tools (CP, AMEF, PDF, SPC, MSA).
- Troubleshooting Tools (8D, 5Why's, Ishikawa).
- Statistical Tools knowledge (It is a plus).
- Practical experience of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
- Microsoft office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication English skills.
- Background in Quality and previous Automotive industry experience advantageous.
- Knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949 combined with proven auditing experience to this standard ideal.
- English 90%.
