We have the perfect opportunity for an experienced Material Planner. The role will primarily report into the Material Planning Senior Manager. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where the successful candidate must have the right attitude, be prepared to roll their sleeves up and be an excellent problem solver.
This person will have a broad range of responsibilities across all aspects of Material Planning. We are looking for someone who doesn't need any motivation to develop, a self-starter, who is hungry to continually improve Material planning & Supply chain operations. You will be working close together with various business partners in our Business units, GBS & Global Operations teams as well as cross functionally with Procurement & external suppliers.
In brief, you will be responsible for:
Executes Short, medium & long-term replenishment strategies for assigned materials while optimizing the balance between supply availability and inventory investment.
Works cross functionally with Marketing, Procurement, R&D, Suppliers, Quality and Finance teams on commercializing Material change management initiatives, ensuring material availability
Supports inventory reduction initiatives entailing optimization of SAP MRP parameters, total supply chain process improvement, and application of lean principles.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply planning, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams to align supply chain activities.
Analyze and optimize MRP processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
Determines supplier capacity constraints and executes appropriate contingency plans to maintain supply when capacity is exceeded
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field
2+ Years Supply Chain experience preferably within FMCG
Strong knowledge of S&OP, Supply and Material Planning principles
Proficiency in Supply Chain & Supply Chain Planning software & tools preferred (OMP, Kinaxis, O9 or SAP APO)
Proven track record to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
